With the completion of our twentieth year of grant making, San Angelo Health Foundation has committed over $44 million to community enhancement projects! The cumulative effect of these dollars is evident throughout the Concho Valley in new facilities and programs.
Grants for medical equipment for critical access hospitals in rural Texas, daycare for developmentally delayed children and mental health facilities directly affect the quality of life for our neighbors. Support for our educational institutions provides options for new careers. Other grants to our area non-profits provide housing with supportive services for handicapped individuals, improved emergency services and equipment for volunteer firefighters and assistance to Christian-based organizations for youth programs and needy families.
Beyond buildings and projects, we strive to provide opportunity and hope, particularly for those with limited resources and alternatives. In every consideration, we stretch our dollars for service and charity to meet the unique challenges of our community.
Applications for funding are accepted on a continuing basis.
